Went to get travel injections, greeted by two cheerful and polite receptionist (Georgia and Ayeshia) with a sense oh humour. Able to answer our questions and give us forms and information. A credit to the practice.

Yesterday l had a blood test with Georgia. Despite hating needles l felt extremely at ease with Georgia’s competent and calming attitude. I was very fortunate to say hello to Karen too. They were both on top form and an absolute pleasure to chat with them both. They make a fantastic team, and class myself very fortunate, grateful and lucky that they are a very important pair of nurses within the wonderful West Barnes Surgery

This GP's practice is located in the London Borough of Merton rather than the Royal Borough of Kingston, so it is unclear why the out of hours GP service can only provide appointments in 3 hubs which are licated on teh otehr side of Kingston, Chessington or Tolworth. Travel to any of these 3 clinics at the weekend, when you are ill and do not have access to a car and can't afford a taxi, the jouney on public transport can take over an hour, and an involve more than one bus or train. Whereas other GP practices in merton use the Raynes Park Health Centre and the Nelson Heath Centre both of which are on local bus routes.
