The use of patient access is excellent, i have almost always been able to get an appointment on the day i have wanted to be seen. Very quick and easy. Staff are always helpful and polite and GP's are fantastic. I would highly recommend.

I haven't used the surgery much (once) before, but when I need it I failed to make an appointment over the phone. The receptionist was unfriendly and unable to book me for an appointment next week even though the web site clearly states otherwise. Calling 8 am in the morning is difficult for me because of work commitments and she would not take that on board.

Dear Patient, I can only apologise that this response is long overdue. I am really sorry to hear that this was your experience and I hope we have done better for you since. We do usually have appointments that can be pre-booked in advance for the following week, however if GP's are on holiday then this isn't always the case, but we do always have appointments that are available to book on the same day and we do also have Hub GP appointments that we can book for many health issues if we have no appointments available. I would encourage you to sign up to patient online access (you need to pop into the surgery with Photo ID and it can be set up really easily via the patient access app or website) this enables you to see all pre-bookable appointments and book them without needing to call in as well as the appoints that get released at 8am. I have been with this practise for over ten years. I can always get on the day appointment using the online booking service. Doctors work with you and are always willing to do additional tests. I have also had over the phone doctor consultations in the past, so no need to take time of work. Having the blood test service available in the mornings is also very convenient.
