This surgery is exceptional. The response to all enquiries through the systems is incredibly quick and responsive. The doctors are kind and considerate - my husband and I have two children and we have been part of the surgery for 17 years. Through that period we have had many reasons to engage with the surgery and they have always been professional and thoughtful.

I have been at this surgery for over 17 years and found both GP,s and reception staff very Pleasant but on Wednesday 23rd December I called up about my blood results and to speak with a doctor in regards to obtain a repeat proscription for my antidepressant to which I was informed that I can request this in writing which is the first time in 10 years that I was informed of this. I informed the young girl that this was not the case and can I please book a appointment to which she refused so I asked to speak with the practice manager who was just as rude and trying to tell me that I can request antidepressants in writing and point blank refused me a appointment. Oh and she was also very patronising! I called back the surgery to which another receptionist answered and said I should call back at 12 to book a emergency appointment to which I did but this time when I called back and gave my name I was put through to the practice manager without being informed of this! Yet again she was rude to and I was rude to her and also refused an appointment, I work at Kingston hospital and was making theses calls while at work, I found this experience very distressing and broke down where one of the paediatrics consultants saw and came to my aid. At 8am Christmas Eve I called back the surgery and a lady that I have known for 17 years answers the phone and her tone was fine until I gave her my name and than she was very rude and try to accuse me of shouting so I informed her that I was in Waitrose doing my last bits of Christmas shopping so was definitely not shouting she changed that accusation very quickly. She wanted to know a very detailed account of what it was that I wanted to speak to the GP about she then informed me that my antidepressants prescription was send over to boots. Before 10 am the GP called me and I told her about the events leading up to the phone appointment she did not care and took the side of the very rude receptionist and practice manager she. The GP,s gave a lot to answer for as in the last 10 years I have had to attend face to face appointments to obtain antidepressants to know how I am and since COVID I have telephone appointments for my antidepressants so I am very concerned that my antidepressants were prescribed without a doctor talking to me. I know the names of everyone that I spoke too and please be restored that this matter is not over. It is such a shame that the practice manager and receptionist are giving this surgery a very bad name.

I attended the surgery for a blood test and mentioned that I had been bitten by a horsefly the previous day which was looking red and swollen. Despite not having an appointment to see a doctor, I was promptly seen by an doctor and prescribed antibiotics. Such excellent and caring staff.
