Rang to ask why I had to pay for my prescription, and a doctor who is partner . It was prescribed by your Skin Specialist a few weeks ago previous by the st Heliers hospital. I have contributed for than 50 years to NHS yet people who not contributed get it free. I am a pensioner. Yet the doctor who I was told would ring, did not, and levy a note she did not want to discuss it Yet the same medicine was prescribed , that was kept in a fridge and not on the shelf as doctor of woodcote claimed. There is difference between the two I was told by the pharmist.yet people who haven’t paid a penny can get the same medicine free.why has any doctor the right to decide.if ccq says so why was it changed, has doctor the right to change as she feels. For whom she wants just because she is Partner. I would like the mp Minister for heath to look at this Thanks |

This GP practice is too busy, have too many patients and therefore make unnecessary mistakes like calling me (patient) 3 months after a consultant asked for the GP to contact me, after the consultants team reviewed my test results again, i had no idea, I thought test results were fine.
Reception staff are not very nice or welcoming, i am almost scared to ask them any questions or call for an appointment. I know they are very busy, but a kind word would be so nice, unfortunately that doesn't happen. I really try to avoid calling the practice, only when I have no choice and I have to see a GP.
The nurses are very kind and caring.
One or two GP's are very professional and good, but you have to wait 4 weeks to see them, the rest of the GP's are not good, where i question if they even like their job. There is no eye contact just some typing on the computer whilst listening to your symptoms. I don't feel they take me serious and do not find them very professional or intelligent. In summary, i do not recommend this GP practice. |

I recently attended Purley Medical for an ongoing medical issue. The automated checkin is great and saves standing in any queues. The doctor I saw was polite and understanding and very thorough, explaining everything I needed to know regarding my referral to hospital. After the consultation I needed to see the receptionist to book a further appointment and found them very helpful, professional and polite.
I noticed that the consulting rooms have recently been refurbished so are now clean & clinical which is really reasurringly professional.
I would certainly recommend this surgery to friends and family. |
