Rude practice. Will not explain things to patients and details clients requests as wants and not needs. Terse communication suggesting I visit another practice when I asked for what I have a legal right to a copy of my blood tests and because I dared to challenge their clinical knowledge. A particular doctor there Dr Tomar will put all of your problems down to mental health problems when he has not trained as a psychiatrist and it is not within his sphere of competence. He suggested at one point my symptoms were due to malingering. They don't resolve your issues even though you show symptoms and you are on record as having multiple psychical health problems. Empathy is significantly low. They should call patients where there is a difference in what the doctor thinks and what the patient thinks. I am livid this evening and hope Portland Medical Centre takes this feedback on board.

Trying to see a doctor if only to hear all is ok is a good thing, you may get a physio or a paramedic instead, nothing gives confidence like seeing a qualified doctor. You spend ages filling in forms on the internet which necessitates having a broadband connection and a computer (trying to use a phone is impossible) this all started when covid happened, I believe the receptionist area has been taken over by an American company. The phone system they use is not compatible with the rest of the country and which is why they send texts rather than emails. All in all it has nose dived in the quality department

Being registered at this phoney, dangerous establishment means putting your self in the hands of life or death. The nazi-like reception manager seems to think she’s a doctor, with the ‘ridiculous, know-it-all’ advice she trots out. The doctors are virtual avatars - you never get to see one, just receive text messages that generally tell you to “get lost and go to A&E”, or some other crap advice they’ve pulled up on Google. And you want more tax payers money - for this?!?! These people are paid by how many they have on their books, and this outfit are playing fast and loose with the lives of 14,500 local people, shameful!!!
