I have been a patient with this surgery for 51 years. It was always a very good surgery but in the past receptionist were horrible, patronising and rude. The difference now is remarkable our receptionists are friendly helpful and respectful.
I cannot fault any of our doctors they are all friendly, helpful and extremely professional.
all of the other staff fall into this same category too. |

So difficult to get an appointment told to ring up in the morning, you are on hold for ever or the call disconnects. If you do get through it is to an automated answering message stating that all the appointments are full.
So booked through the on line service so you can't see a doctor of your choice or at a time suitable to your work commitments as there was only one appointment available in the next two weeks.
Got to the surgery in time for a 10.20 appointment at 11am went to ask the receptionist if I was likely to be seen any time soon was told there was another 3 people ahead of me.
Finally seen well over an hour after my appointment time with no apology and the very rude receptionist didn't understand why I wanted to complain.
Once I saw the doctor he was very professional stating that he should give the patients the time they need so as not to cause distress etc, but surely they should also have the same considerations who are waiting over an hour to be seen in pain or upset or suffering from anxiety. As I had written a letter of complaint during the time I waited the practice manager asked to speak to me and her attitude was incredibly disrespectful and patronising, basically saying it is what it is, it is not going to get any better. I tried to explain the difficulties for patients who work and the impact on our employers when instead of being away from the office for 30 minutes which is should have been I was away for nearly two hours, her response was that my employers should be grateful I could to see a doctor at all - unbelievable. |

had a long term throat and ear infection, staff did their best to sort it out for me, especially the senior nurse, very sympathetic, professional and caring.
Thank You |
