Not sure if GP is at fault or staff ? Never the less thir is my experience with Burnt oak. October 2020 phoned I was in extreme pain..Contacted by triage team..later received a call from a staff member! You want to see a doctor because of a back ache..try paracetamol! Few days later 111 sent me to urgent care..Shingles was diagnosed..it is now Postherpetic Neurlagia. Dec. asked again to speak to gp..got the nurse practitioner Thanet rd ( excellant) I was to have a full blood test..not to be I was then diagnosed covid 19..weeks later had a blood test I needed b12..seems Sidcup Medical do not give inj..Was put on oral med not any good..So, June 11 an appointment tent at Queen Mary..with eye consultant..I needed b12 he said..said he would write to the GP...Ive had glaucoma 7 years though the letter said 4..also severe optic nerve damage. B12 helps optic nerve getting worse.. So far no response. I've phoned got a very abrupt girl..No she said you won't get b12 inj here!..Outcome..unless I want to collapse in the street or have to use a white stick..I now PAY for b12. Again not sure if any gp is aware..someone has to be responsible. My details.. nurse practitioner Thanet rd will have..Again this women I applaud she's been a help with other probs. Burnt Oak. my conclusion..is it should be closed up.

To get a telephone consultation with a doctor..9days I was told. When I said I needed more medication which was not on my usual prescription..answer from the receptionist..tell the doctor when you see him This is a appalling gp surgery..think it needs to be investigated by ombudsman.

I have already written my review. Feel the need to comment when I read wonderful wonderful things about gp..staff everyone wonderful!! Where were these wonderful people when I've tried so hard to get help. I am the person that is PAYING FOR B12 inj. My health not good..thats to be expected as im old..also no help from these WONDERFUL people..known as doctors.. This problem might stem from SOME of these..dare I say WONDERFUL people who take your Call? Must say one person Fay a delight to deal with the others!! So all you lucky very satisfied patients I congratulate your success in getting help.
