This surgery is absolutely disgusting when trying to get an appointment you have to ring at 8.30 when getting through all appointments have gone within 9minutes of opening yet you can’t pre book an appointment. I have two children and suffer with anxiety and depression and takes a lot to get me to doctors at best of times my faith in the surgery is zero. You find yourself explaining to a receptionist your problem which I feel is not appropriate.

I joined this surgery some months ago despite the warnings of several of my friends. Oh how I wish that I had listened to them.The surgery does have easy access but there any praise 0f this practice must end It is very difficult to get an appointment here and when one does it is usually at least 30 minutes before the doctor calls you in. In my experience you then get a fleeting few minutes consultation before being shown the door.The doctors communication skills are inadequate and promises made for requests for hospital tests are rarely kept. I may just have been unlucky but I cannot recommend this practice to anybody. I have also noted that unlike many other surgeries complaints are never responded to which is deeply disappointing.

I have been trying for a week now to get a follow up appointment, tried phoning at 8.30am but phones at this time are switched to busy, managed to get through once at 8.30 and 32 seconds but was told all appointments had gone!!!!!! Advised to set up on line as was quicker and easier to get appointment, this I done and NO it isn't, been trying everyday, today I have been trying since 8.28am and still trying now, 2 hours later, in the hope there maybe a cancellation. I have no problem with the GP's and nurses, when you are (very) lucky to get an appointment but trying to get a follow up appointment a week or so later (as requested by GP or Nurse) is a nightmare as you cannot book at the time. I can see and understand why more and more people are ending up at the hospital at least they get seen.
