The surgery texted me to make a telephone appointment re my prescription which was ordered today by the chemist, when I rang there was no telephone appointment until next Wednesday ,over a week away.I cannot believe it is not possible for someone to simply pick up the phone and have a short conversation before this.I was the practice nurse here for 12 years and then we got very good reviews, the surgery has really gone downhill since,it is most unfortunate for patient care, surely they are the important ones . |

Today 25 April How can you be in a waiting list of thirty at 8:00 in the morning? When you get a reply there are no appointments? you are told to contact 111. I have personally been trying to get an appointment for a month. When I asked for a prescription that I usually have to clear up my chest infection, I was told there was no one in surgery who could authorise it.!! The amalgamation of these surgeries has not made the service or customer service any better, probably worse. When you consider the previous Doctor run that surgery single handed, with just a small staff you always got an appointment, and the best service you could wish for. Don’t think I have actually seen a doctor in the last two years, normally a temporary doctor you will never see again. So how do you get an appointment? I’ve ticked to remain anonymous as I feel the staff at the New Road Surgery are very vindictive |
