Great service from both surgeries over the last six months. Managed to get a prebookable appointment to suit from helpful reception staff, who answered the phone professional manner and treated me with respect, every time. Both doctors I saw always listened to me and sent me from multiple tests to double check everything. All results were presented to me in a clear manner and promptly. Great service by the NHS. Thanks to everyone at the practice.

In order to get an appointment, it is necessary to ring in first thing in the morning to see if there is anything available on that day. That really does not work if, for instance, work full time and are not in the area. For me it would mean leaving work (subject to an employers permission), getting two buses to the Doctor's surgery, and then two buses to get back to work. You cannot make an appointment for a set day or time. So, the question to the surgery is, how are you going to cater for people who work full time? Please bring back the appointments system.

Having just come down from Gloucester to look after my mum who has a long term illness I enrolled at this surgery as it is the one my mum belongs to..I am 22 and was born with a kidney disorder. As a young child I spent many months in a specialist hospital and was later diagnosed with a rare blood cancer. At the moment I have been clear from any symptoms for three years.I expected a new patient assessment when I joined this practice. However the receptionist said it did not apply here the doctor just took you on their list.Any way I had to make an appointment to see the doctor as I needed a repeat prescription. This in itself was difficult as I was told that the doctor also ran another surgery and as such was only here on a part time basis. When I eventually saw the doctor no interest was shown in my past history or in what help may be available in the future.I just felt awkward and it seemed all the doctor wanted was to get me out of the door.I am now looking for a new practice for me and my mum.
