First of all thank you to all of the doctors nurses and staff of WMGP for the treatment I have received in resolving my recent bought of poor health, and this includes Maidstone Hospital doctors and staff. I have to say it’s so easy this day and age to give bad reviews of a lot things but there has been a massive turn around at this practice and it deserves recognition. Well done and thank you.

As I was previously diagnosed by WMGP as having a bicuspid aortic valve and as a result had aortic valve replacement surgery in 2019 together with other long term health conditions I was asked to contact the surgery in July for an annual review of my health and medications.I contacted the surgery after 3pm ( as they request for non urgent calls) and was spoken to within only a few minutes.I was given an appointment with a person who I think was a nurse practitioner who spent about half hour discussing my situation in some detail and then arranging a blood test and appointment with a doctor for 3 days after the blood test.I was advised that the doctor would contact me AM on that day.I was contacted at 9.50 on the appointed day at which time the doctor reviewed my medication including prescribing an additional one and arranging for two further reviews to consider certain aspects of my health. The following morning at 9am I visited the local pharmacy to collect my repeat prescription and the new medication was also there for me to collect. I have nothing but praise for those at reception, nurses and doctors at WM and their high standard of care and consideration in these very difficult times for the NHS. I have never had any issue with my treatment in over 40 years with the practice.It is disappointing that some patients are too ready to criticise rather than exercise greater patience and empathy for those doing their best for us.
