Railside Surgery Has over the years given reasonable service and at times exceptional service but since Dr Ramesh disappeared we know not where, the service has been non-existent since covid started not once has a doctor been seen at Railside I'm under the impression that they are all on garden leave whenever one phones it's can't you get to Malvern rd if I wanted to get to Malvern rd i would have signed up with a Dr there 50 years ago but it is a right pain in the posterior to get to and no buses from North Gillingham and a mile and half walk all up hill, to be greeted by the Rottweiler receptionist and a locked waiting room. My wife had a bit of a problem a month back was told by a locum on the phone of course to get a blood test booked this was done and we awaited the results some two weeks later she got a call after chasing them for the results to be told that she had a Liver problem, this we have known about for ten years or more and the doctor bless him hadn't a clue that she attended the hospital annualy for tests and a scan how do they justify the wages? |

I have been with the surgery for some time service was excellent until dt R Retired I have not been able to set eyes on a dr since then. My prescription are managed via pharmacy only. No review has been completed since 2018 as a result I'm now quite unwell resulting from BP medication which should have change. In June 2021 I had an angina attack couldn't get through on phone was taken to surgery which is five minutes away from my house receptionists popped hehe head out the door and told me to go home and call 111.(I had already done so but couldn't get through so thought it safer to go to gp.) As I write this I am holding on for someone to answer the phone for test result having been referred back from the hospital for them to monitor my medication. It's a nightmare at that place now. One locum dr who did eventually call me and decided to monitor my BP which is now all over the place resulting in me now needing wheelchair or walking stick or bed rest daily I had to shout at him to get a treatment plan around how follow up will be managed . I have effectively been treating my self for 4 years at home. It's a joke. |

The Railside Surgery has got worse with regards to one particular receptionist who is arrogant, rude and not helpful. She has no respect or care for the patient and tries to make you look silly. We have been with the surgery for around 48 years and in that time it has declined. |
