Over the last two years and this year in particular we have had to use the practice a considerable amount. All the Staff we have seen have been most understanding and helpful. The telephone system is excellent, and we even had a home visit when it was impossible to get to a surgery. We cannot speak highly enough of the care that we have experienced. Can rarely get an appointment and have to wait on the phone for a very long time. Rang at 8am for a same day cancellation appointment but was placed in position 35 in the queue. Have also tried using the patent portal, but there is a minimum of a four week wait for an available appointment. They need more funding and more GPs. Tonbridge Medical Group will be moving next spring to a bigger new surgery in the centre of Tonbridge which will allow patients better access to our services. Also there will be more space for the clinician and admin teams to increase to deal with demand. Our telephone lines open at 8am and the reception team have to deal with a significant amount of calls from 8am - 10am for appointment bookings. If possible and your call is not urgent we ask patients to ring later in the day. We understand at present the situation is not ideal but please bear with us. | |||||||

Very straight forward visit. I had no problems with booking an appointment for my daughter and I on the same day. The visit itself was uneventful with helpful advice provided by the GP that saw us. | |||||||
