Me and my family have been going here for years ever since we have lived in Tonbridge. The doctors and nurses are all so lovely and helpful and always do the best they can to help you straight away and always make you feel at ease when you are there.
But, I always get the same problem every single time i ring up or go in and have to speak to the reception staff. There is one lady on the reception desk, who is honestly the rudest lady i have ever met. Example - i rang up the other day because i thought i had missed a call from the doctors as i had a No caller ID missed call and was expecting a call back from the surgery, when i rang, she yelled at me down the phone telling me to 'STOP CALLING THIS SURGERY' in the most angry voice, and before i even had a chance to say anything she then continued with 'I am hanging up now, goodbye'. I mean how RUDE!!!!!!! I have spoken with numerous people and they have all said the exact same about this one lady, she shouts down the phone at you, asks you why you are ringing and quite often hangs up the phone on you. So if you go to this doctors, avoid this lady and you will have a pleasant experience, but if you speak to this lady on the phone or happen to have her greet you as you walk in, she will definitely leave a bad taste in your mouth of what is to come - but fear not, as i say, the doctors are all wonderful :) | |||||||

Having recently moved to the area (and initially had trouble finding a practice accepting new patients), I have been very impressed with the Trenchwood Medical Centre in general and my new GP in particular. Although the practice, like so many, is clearly under pressure with busy schedules and full appointment lists, my GP has gone out of her way to communicate with me, to listen and to "join the dots" in the absence of my complete medical history and has been proactive in pushing for further treatment for me. When she has not been able to get hold of me herself, a member of the Reception team has followed up. It really has been a pleasant surprise to be looked after so well and gives me confidence that I will get the treatment I need at a time when the NHS in general is under pressure. | |||||||
