I needed have blood tests and the response was really good from seeing the doctors to having the the bloods taken they are very though and supportive.

I telephoned in a very anxious state of mind about my medication and was dealt with politely, effectively, and efficiently by a very skilled receptionist. The surgery works under constant pressure; the NHS is nowadays always short-staffed. There is a high proportion of elderly patients - I am one of them aged 71 - and in this surgery all are treated as important despite their age. No surgery is perfect. I have only have had one cause to get really anxious - my fault - and that was dealt with so that I was made to feel less anxious. I have had frequent changes of surgeries all over the country and the Old Town Surgery is amongst the best. Thank you.

Seen by Dr Barrow following a telephone consultation. What a great GP he is. Friendly, easy to talk to and a credit to the practice.
