Every time I attend this GP I feel discriminated by staff. Always have to sit and wait past appointment time due to others being prioritised due to being known by team members and allowed to cut their time. Doctors are afraid of patient’s and are not willing to listen. Prescribing medicine without checkups. It feels as if they are afraid of people. Just wants you to leave. When ever i get prescription it is not suitable for issues that I have.

I'm not sure whether it is the fault of the practice as to why I have struggled so much to get the treatment I need. But, the waiting times for appointments are horrendous, around two weeks if you're lucky, and getting through via phone is almost impossible. I have spent two weeks barely able to walk waiting for an appointment. Following finally getting that appointment and being promised that I would be recommended for a scan as a priority, I still haven't heard anything from Whipps Cross, who I called and said they hadn't received anything recommending me for a scan. This is 1.5 days after appointment. This means I am being forced to live with an injury with no diagnosis and no recommendation on what to do to deal with it other than painkillers, meaning I am potentially exacerbating the condition . It took nearly 1.5 years to get the bottom of a chronic back condition. I have sought psychological support services. The system means that I am on a waiting list of 6 months, despite my Father having terminal cancer and needing counselling support. The doctors personal manner varies massively, some are outright rude and unpleasant to deal. Others better, but no consistent relationship with any of them. Receptionists are universally rude and impatient. I appreciate not all of these issues are their fault - i suspect most of them are a product of funding, being understaffed and over subscribed. But it all adds up to a horrendous experience where I am not getting what I need at all. Seeing as GPs are the gateway to all treatment, a better service is essential. The lack of support I have received at an incredibly tough moment in my life has made it that bit worse and has left me very disillusioned. In short, not up to scratch.

Last days, due to an infectious disease I needed for work a sick notice. For 2 days I called for this paper, where my husband went to the clinic 4 times to pick up the paper and everytime they gave him a form from the internet,of course, unuseful,I needed a real proof, not a printed paper. In the end,I was able to talk to an doctor who agreed to make that paper for 20£. When I asked why I have to pay for this he told us that this is a private service,it has nothing to do with NHS. I accepted because I was in a time crisis and I did not even get a receipt because they don’t have a cash register. Therefore, I do not know who received those money and most important why,as long as I’m paying my taxes.
