Atrocious standards. This practice is in the habit of sitting on correspondence for 6+ months without action. A simple referral can drag on for years whilst they do next to nothing to progress the matter. Their internal communications are appalling and reception staff appear unable to use and navigate their own computer systems. Nigh on impossible to get a clear and concise answer to any enquiry and most often you are met with indifference and a pass the buck mentality. |

Excellent Practice. I always manage to get a GP call back if I send a request online. Repeat prescription requests have always been dealt swiftly. I can highly recommend Dr Price and Dr Iles. Practice nurses have been fabulous too. |

The appointment system is ridiculous. You have to phone up every day first thing in the morning and first thing in the afternoon. If by some miracle there is a slot free that day, the doctor will phone you back, at an undisclosed time. Obviously this is inconvenient if you are at work. If there's no appointment (almost certainly there won't be, because everyone else is in the same situation), then keep phoning. Hold times are typically half an hour. That is if they even pick up. Today I phoned 5 times, and was hung up on the first four times. When you get through, be prepared for officiousness to the max, and to run a 10 minute gauntlet of questions and attempts to deflect you from seeing the doctor. Stay strong and you may eventually get to speak to one of the doctors. No complaints about the doctors. They seem good. |
