This surgery is very frustrating. I have been given a 4 hour window for a phone appointment. The doctor will call me some time between 2-6pm. It’s like they don’t realise that people have actual jobs and can’t be on stand by for 4 bloody hours! Very appalled at the service, the receptionist never seems to know anything and tells me they will call back and never do. Also why offer a 4 hour appointment if the doctor is going to call you at 4pm and when you call them back a bit later, they tell you that the doctor has finished at 5pm. If the doctor finishes at 5pm then why are you offering appointments with a 4 hour window that finishes at till 6pm? They need a much better, streamlined system that allow patients to book appointments with a more specific time frame | |||||||

Every doctor I have ever seen at CHRS has been brilliant and I am very pleased to say that my new 'usual doctor', Dr Johan Byran is no exception. Patients often feel awkward when they have a lot of health matters at the same time., but my five or so matters were dealt with by Dr Byran yesterday efficiently, kindly and without the slightest criticism of me or my being made to feel I am a nuisance! A number of times in the last few years, I have seen Dr Moross on an urgent basis and she has given me valuable tip-top assistance in the most kind and sympathetic manner. I cannot praise this surgery highly enough. A friend of mine in another part of London feels she has to limit herself to talking to her GP about two things every six months so she just gets worse and worse as symptoms accumulate. It is appreciated just how much pressure the system is under. With the help I am getting from CHRS, I know I can get better and thereby gradually reduce my demand on the service in the future. Everyone working at the Crouch Hall Road Surgery is kind, supportive and helpful. This is so much better than my previous surgery. My appreciation and gratitude to all CHRS staff, reception and clinical, who all really make an effort in every way to understand and support the patient. | |||||||

I have been a patient at Crouch Hall surgery for almost 20 years ,and I have always been recommending them for their excellent service, in particular Dr Morass, Gill and the ladies at reception, as well as writing may reviews praising them for all they have done. This morning, I was due to have a phone appointment with Dr Goar which lasted less than 60 seconds. He dismissed my query and I felt treated like a piece of dirt under his shoes. I am shaking now whilst writing this and I never experienced anything like this ever. | |||||||
