Every time I call up for an appointment I can’t get one, the receptionist is clueless and rude. Not all the time I’m available to call at 8 am and sit on hold for 45 mins at a time due to work. If I’m lucky I can get a out of hours service at another practice! The system is useless in accommodating those that work. Instead of booking appointments for those that have little sniffles actually save appointments for workers! I’ve been at this practice for nearly 18 years and it’s shocking at just how ridiculous the surgery has become.

When are details of our Covid vaccinations going to be added to our records so that they appear on the My GP app which I registered for and can use to order medication but isn’t given the Covid confirmation. I know others from another practice where this information appeared very quickly! It was the whole point of doing the registration!!!

I have been going to the surgery for over 33 years and over the last few years the decline is very apparent. Doctors not available and then sent to a Practice Nurse without warning or asking if this suits you, months chasing referrals only to find the incorrect process had been followed, results mislaid or delayed. Most reception staff fine, some lacking in empathy completely. Online booking system created, then aborted, then could only book on the day- who does that work for if you have a job? Now the system has changed again. A Practice Nurse told me just last week there are barely any doctors there now- can this be true? Last minute cancelled appointments, muddled staff when given jabs, confusion with processes, delays in referrals- all experienced in the last visits I have made. Such a shame, it used to be so good.
