I am 79 broke my leg, was treated in hospital after a 12 hour wait for the ambulance because I was breathing and not bleeding! On my return home after 4 days I had a telephone appt with your doctor which was helpful. She was going to arrange a toe nurse from Hornsey Rise Centre to visit me but I still have to see someone from there! I cannot reach my toes due to now having a harness on my leg after 6 weeks in plaster I now have an ingrowing toenail!!! I appreciate you are doing the best you can in these very hard times but through no fault of your own patients are becoming extremely vulnerable. Thank you for what you do. I had an appointment with regards to my mental health, in which I was told of a service to which I could self-refer, and was out within a few minutes. I waited for 10 days for the appointment, and I would have preferred it if, when I initially phoned to make the appointment, the receptionist could have offered me information about the self-referral service over the telephone, as I mentioned that I wanted to see the doctor with regards to my mental health. This would have saved me the long wait, and also kept the appointment free for someone else to use. I have been a patient at this surgery for about ten years. I am not a regular user - I need an occasional prescription, and I have been for the odd check up, and I have had jabs when I go abroad, and I have always been very happy with the service they offer. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful on the phone or in person, I like the use of texts to confirm/cancel appointments, I've always been able to get appointments pretty quickly when I've needed them, I've been happy with the doctors whenever I have seen them and the nurse in particular is great - really helpful and very knowledgeable. | |||||||
