I have used this surgery for over thirty years. Various Dr's have come and gone along with nurses and reception and office staff. The Surgery has seen me through some bad times with my mother, children and myself. The staff have always been polite and helpful. I had the misfortune to hear a patient having a go at the receptionist one time - the receptionist however was very polite and handled the situation very professionally. We are lucky to have a surgery like this one in our village and people need to understand the pressure that they sometimes have to work under. If a receptionist is a bit slow it could be that they are new and still learning. The Pharmacy is so much busier now as the population has risen. Make allowances for this. We have a good surgery here.. we are really lucky. | |||||||

The Doctors/G.P's themselves are wonderful never had a problem in 6 years.
The office staff are way above their stations. Rude & ignorant.
I try not to deal with them, try and be nice with smiles you are treated with distaste.
Only today as an examlpe collecting a prescription for my partner whom is currently in receipt of sickness benefits, I was asked to fill the back of the form, I asked what box to tick for being on sick (I could only make out a couple of word on the small print (aging eyes)) Well it must now be a state secret as the reply was "I can not tell you that" this is from the staff responsable for the scripts. After ticking a box she informs me I will get a letter If ticked the wrong box, I relied I don't care as she does not care to help.
I am yet to see TOP SECRET printed anywhere. This is the regular type of attitude to expect from most of the staff here.

Easy to get through on the phone and get an appointment when i need one.
