Went into the surgery this morning as they do not always answer their phones. Wanted to book an appointment on or around 31st July, as that is when my fit note expires. I was told that there would be no appointments even though the diary was not open up to then. If I want an extension, the receptionist would do this, but only for a week. I am long term sick because of cancer and its effects. Also wanted to be able to request my medication but cannot because ig needs to be reauthorised by a doctor. Still, I could make no appointment. I'm sure the reception team believe they are in charge! I was not rude but I kept getting talked over. I came away very angry and upset that a basic need cannot be met. I will be taking the matter further. The surgery is an absolute disgrace. |

11/08/2022 FORMAL COMPLAINT Dear Sir/Madam I am writing to you to make a Formal complaint to the institution and the workers in question. This last week i been feeling weak, fatigued sometimes dizzy, feeling cold, crankiness, i dont stop open my mouth, iam always sweating, got memory loss and no will power to do nothing... Today arround 8.25 AM i ring Queensway surgery and i was answered by a receptionist named ~D~ or ~The~ ???? she didnt wanted to give me her real name. FIRST i didnt know that receptionists are trained to do triage... or... if they dont know.... they put you on old and going to ask the manager, as if he knew about health triage.... then PUT A NURSE DOIND TRIAGE AVALUATIONS PLEASE Because its a waist of clients time to be booked to see a pharmacist, then after , to see a nurse, when client needs to see a doctor.... Surgerys are to support Hospital A&E... then if we go A&E they tell us to see a GP, and at Queensway, we are told to see a Pharmacist.... This lady today, after i told her my simptoms she told me the doctor just deal with one sympom, and in the end booked me to see a nurse... hahahaha its a joke As the other day someone a GP actualy tolsd me that with my catarats a nd glaucoma problem when i dont see almost nothing.... that i really dont need any help.... IS THIS WHAT YOU CALL HEALTH SERVICE Sorry you will have to learn with 2nd and 3rd class countries then.... Waiting for an answer Paulo Ramos EVERYONE SHOULD MAKE A COMPLAINT ABOUT THEM... BETTER CLOSE THE SURGERY THEN DO THIS TO WHOM NEEDS HEALT SERVICES |

This surgery is not fit for purpose and the reception staff need reminding they are there to book appointments they are not triage nurses |
