This practice would never survive it it was a business. Not enough admin staff hence very long waits on the phone. No follow up from the practice for test results etc. They rely on the patient to chase up the referrals from other hospitals. I have just had an experience where a doctor was supposed to ring me at a specific time three days ago and it didn't happen. Again me as a patient has to chase this up. When I rang, the lady had no access to these appointments.So often you are asked to ring back again and sit on the phone for ages. What happens to infirm people who are not able to chase up these situations? Then there are the long long waits for appointments. When you get an appointment you are limited to 10 mins and scolded if you have more than one condition you wish to talk about ...they ask you to book another appointment! So you never get off the merry go round. I believe Limes is not much better. It's a sad reflection of the Health Service in this country. |

The gp does not read letters from external sources so is useless is you suffer with long term illness. He stopped prescriptions which I need to test blood sugar without discussing with me., even though the hospital told me to check it. The do not do any follow ups on any conditions, I have never been offered appointments at clinic for my asthma or high bp and have not been offered follow up blood tests for high cholesterol. Wait weeks for general appointment. Staff have attitude. Repeat prescriptions often have items missing without them alerting you |
