Today I decided to leave Loughton Health Centre, I have been here all of my adult life. My GP Dr Ding, am I am sure he is great, but my experience has been poorf. If you had the courage to simply call and ask why do I need this, I could of refered you to the letters the hospital have written on more than one occassion. I have a repeat prescription, which clearly gets reviewed and then one particular item which is crucial to manage my very rare condition gets the quantity cut. This is a problem in which this practice should be aware of as the hospital would of written to the Dr several times about. I why the quantity is required. This is an on going problem, spoken to the hosptial who have written to Dr. Around two years ago, the quantity got cut again, i raised it with the pharmacy, pharmacy blamed the dr. Receptionist sent out the manager. Obnoxious, arrogant, rude, patient can only be wrong attitude. I remember her tone, as she automatically asumed how I was using the prescription, what I was using them for and why. So we agreed that Dr Ding will have to deal with this directly with me. As i reminded he will have letters from the hospital. Fast forward to 2023, same problem. but this time the quantity was cut and rather than argue with pharmacy and then argue with the managemer, i took the small prescrition home. two weeks later asking for another repeat as the last did not cover the full amount. But no, out comes this obnoxious manager, who talks to the pharmacy who incists gave the correct amount and it was my fault. Maybe its not, as it is a re occuring problem. Last week a Doctor who I have never spoken to before telephone me about this repeat prescription asking, how much i needed, i explained the situation, how, why and for what reason i use them, in which finally her tone changed to understanding. I went to pick it up, but it was not given to the pharmacy. pharmacy never recieved the prescription. Back to the receptionist, receptionist sends out the manager, i instanly recognise her by her tone, attitude is disdain from the first time around two years ago. She talks tone death, with no eye contact as if I am wrong because your GP made mistakes in which meant I had to deal with you one on one again, the first time it was unpleasant, this time and this time I have had enough of Loughton Health Centre and had enough of this manager who I do not know her name, as clearly no introduction needed! It was the condoscending attitude that I said this is not our first time, she said not with her. Sorry Yes, with you, I remember having to talk to you. As a patient perhaps your GPs make mistakes, but you, the person the receptionist send out, you are bridge not worth keeping. And yes, I did think of reporting poor service at Loughton Health Centre. |
