Awful surgery, can't think of one good thing to say about it.About 3 doctors that are very good, but you are un able to get an appointment to see them, all the rest are useless, fed up with practice nurses, they are not doctors. Reception in the morning is most unhelpful after two, very nice but that is all.

Can’t get an appointment. I have tried for several weeks to get an appointment for a referral. It would take a doctor less than 5 minutes. Each time I try for 40mins to an hour and can’t get through. I’m just so glad it’s not a referral I need in an emergency because I’d be dead by the time these people pick up the phone. Previously I’ve called while making my way to the surgery, been on hold for 30 mins and when I’ve walked into the surgery all the receptionists were sitting there chatting. Safe to say they were all shocked when I showed them my phone and that I was on hold to them. They won’t take appointments over the desk so how do I get my referral?? It is most fustrating when you click the COVID vaccine option and get answered to almost immediately but are unable to get answered for a genuine health problem. When I did manage to get an appointment before the pandemic for my little boy who has a huge list of medical complications, the doctor told us to “Get Out” when she realised he had done a poo in his nappy. Said it would stink out her office and said we would need to wait outside while she finished off typing up the appointment and arranged our prescription. While spraying air freshener in front of my son who has chronic lung disease. Didn’t give us an option to change him - just told us to leave. Absolutely diabolical place!

Took me 50 mins to get through to reception to be told I couldn't order repeat had to see the nurse. Went along to see her . She was a disgrace. Why are the practice employing people that have no knowledge of medication. She didn't have a inkling about he meds or alternatives and said she would book me an appointment with the other nurse who was more experienced.! I was then told this was cancelled and an appointment with the dispensing pharmacist was made. This makes me very hesitant about future appointments with the nurses as they lack expertise on medication, what is their point then. If you need to change a med because it doesn't agree with you you would have to wait about three weeks to see a doctor.
