I was number 9 in the telephone queue and 50 minutes later I’m still at number 3 in the queue - I have been sitting at number 3 in the queue for half an hour. So much more them employing more staff to man the phones. You can never get to book an appointment, not even a routine one as they always close access to the forms and you have to book appointments online. They are an absolute joke. There is no care at all at this doctor’s surgery. I have nothing but praise for the dentist but forget registering with this surgery!

This surgery is just bad. Response times are still inadequate. Yesterday when I rang the surgery the answer phone message stated that the lines were full and to ring at a later time. Today I managed to get through after sitting in a queue for 50 mins. Who are these people running this horror show where they feel it is fine for people to wait that long. We do have lives you know and some of us are at work. Can you imagine going into your GP's office and he/she is on the phone in a queue. The system at Lister house is broken hence the damming CQC report which states this surgery falls below the national requirements on so many levels and is inadequte. It is shocking reading if anyone cares to read the CQC report compiled at the end of May 2022. According to the report patients are at risk. Back to my problem this morning, I am still awaiting my GP to authorise my medication. The first request was made by pharmacy2U on the 24/09/2022 and is still pending awaiting Dr approval. Another request for the medication was created on the 27/10/2022 and Dr has still not authorised that request. I am now told it should be done within a few days.
