Very rude receptionist, extremely snappy and could virtually see the eye rolling when asked to repeat herself. Shame on me for failing to register Dr R was not at work today or Monday! Not sure if receptionists are meant to huff, tut and sigh whilst on the phone!!

The receptionist is very rude and impolite. They try their best not to give any appointments through phone even when it is available and the case is urgent. Once in an emergency situation even when I told my conditions I was booked with nurse. Wrong evaluation was done by nurse and my condition deteriorated which ended in weeks of hospital with extreme hemolysis. Worst reception staff. I called this morning for an appointment for my wrist to get a referral to hand surgeon as I was in urgent care in the weekend and they wanted me to get the surgery done through hand surgeon and needed a GP referral. They said they only had appointments after 2 weeks. Suddenly appointments appeared when registered through patches in 2 days. Not sure if the system here. If you are looking to register, I would suggest you against this practice. I am looking to move from here.

This is April 2023. My mum and I have been with practice for five years. The doctors are fine but there is one receptionist that seems to think she's helping her doctors by not making appointments. I'm not sure why she is so intolerant, sharp, uninterested and abrupt. Talking with neighbours I think the only thing we can do,is send in a letter to the practice manager and make sure it goes to him directly. If people don't do anything nothing will change and our health is in her hands. We all need to speak out about the lack of curtesy, and empathy from this one person
