This review is in connection with treatment that i required. The nurse called out my name. At the beginning, the nurse asked me how i was. I answered politely and then reciprocated the nurse's question. The room where i was administered treatment appeared to be clean and was tidy. The nurse asked me to confirm the reason for my appointment and i politely answered the question. The nurse directed a facial expression at me and i felt uncomfortable in relation to the facial expression. The nurse used a computer keyboard. The nurse showed me some information. The nurse asked me a question and the question was in connection with a practical matter. I politely answered the question. The nurse directed a comment at me and i believe that the nurse's comment was unreasonable. I also believe that the nurse's comment was expressed in an aggressive manner. I felt confused and upset. The nurse administered treatment. The nurse used a computer keyboard. The nurse gave me some information and the information related to a practical matter. My appointment concluded.

I have been attending this GP for a number of years now and always liked the doctors I was seeing however the nice ones seem to have left and now Its only one doctor I see. The reception staff are absolutely fantastic and you can get an appointment same day if needed, however the service from the doctor is horrendous. My first couple of appointments were OK with him, I never went to see him about anything too serious so I was assessed quickly and efficiently, fair enough as I know doctors are pressured for time these days. However things changed when I had my son. Again the first few health check ups etc for my son went fine but as soon as he had anything serious the doctor treated me as if I was an over paranoid mother. I am not an over paranoid mother and today went to see him based on the advice of a 111 operator as my son has had a very high fever for over a week (he's 18 months old and has had other health issues in the past). The doctor hardly looked up from his computer as I was explaining symptoms to him and he simply said "he looks fine". I then proceeded to tell him that he had been diagnosed with a potentially life threating illness by a dermatologist we had been seeing, it's a rare skin disorder that affects the immune system. The doctor simply looked at me and said "so?" I was so taken aback by this that I didn't know what to say, I said "so, I was told to tell my GP he has this condition and I've been told he can go into anaphylactic shock with certain foods or medication" and he just ignored me. He prescribed me with antibiotics that contain penicillin even though he said there was no obvious infection or cause for the fever and sent me on my way.....I will be changing doctors. My reason for giving 2 stars is for the amazing reception staff and one other doctor but this doctor should be avoided. My husband has had similar issues, he went in with stomach pain and the doctor simply said "and what do you expect me to do about it".

Thank you for your positive comments regarding Reception staff and doctors in general. We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with one of our GPs recently. We are also sorry that you will be changing doctors. However, it would greatly help if you could write to the practice manager about your concerns so that we can look into the problems further. Alternatively we would be pleased to arrange a face-to-face meeting to clarify and resolve your concerns.

This review is in connection with a consultation i had with a health professional and the consultation was in relation to my general health. This review is also in connection with my experience of engaging with a receptionist. The health professional called out my name and gave me a smile. The health professional was punctual. The room where i had the consultation appeared to be clean and was tidy. Most of the consultation involved the health professional asking me a series of questions. I felt uncomfortable concerning one of the questions that i was asked. After i would politely give my answer to the health professional's question, the health professional would use a computer keyboard in order to record my answer. The health professional directed a remark at me and i believe that the remark was an inappropriate remark. I feel unhappy in relation to the remark. The health professional told me that i could obtain a 'consultation information sheet' at reception and my consultation concluded. I engaged with a receptionist and politely asked the receptionist for a 'consultation information sheet'. The receptionist fulfilled my request. The receptionist directed a remark at me and i believe that the remark was an inappropriate remark. I feel disappointment and unhappy in relation to the remark. The receptionist then passed me something and also communicated an instruction to me. I have asked myself if the receptionist was acting unreasonably towards me because the instruction was in a form that was difficult for me to understand. Consequently, there was a misunderstanding between us. The receptionist then directed a remark at me and i felt upset. My visit to the medical centre concluded.
