I have registered with this surgery almost 10 years ago. This is my local surgery. However the standards of the service provided at this surgery have dropped rapidly. The GP is short tempered and has no respect for the patients. If you ask for a referral or a letter they will tell that I am busy and come again next week. The doctor is so forgetful that the next week they will ask you to come back again. If you are old, the doctor would not listen to you carefully. They will tell you that I am very busy and can't see you or listen to you in detail. If the appointment is at 10:00am most likely you will be seen at 1030 because the doctor spends double the time with his "Favourite" patients. They told me twice to change my GP because i am almost 60 years old and go to see a doctor almost once every two weeks. They tell me that some people don't get well no matter what you prescribe. This doctor advised me to change my GP. They never look at letters from Hospitals advising them issues about patients and forgets about important treatments and or patient health issues. Always get confused if tell them about a complicated health issue.

I have been with this surgery since i was a baby, i am now 26 years old and my whole family have been using his surgery also. The GP is extremely friendly and always willing to see me at short notice including late evenings after app, listens to symptoms and does their best to proivde relevent medication and app etc. well done

I've been going to this practice for a while and only recently discovered this website. I attended this practice under recommendation and have no regrets. Sadly, a while back now, in the morning it was extremely busy, with what looked to be people arriving for all sorts of reasons. To be honest when I'm sick other people are the least of my concerns. However, on this day I realised that some people apparently go to the GP just to 'have-a-go' at the reception staff. It started with one person requesting an appointment that was unavailable. The next person complained about having to wait for 30mins (let's keep in mind that the A&E wait time is 4 hours). Another person went to complain about how rudely they were spoken to the last time they had visited the practice. Upon hearing about a potentially rude receptionist, another patient approached the front desk to goad the staff into an argument, I couldn't believe what I was seeing and hearing. This patient in particular said they had been waiting for almost an hour, but this was a lie because they came in after me and I had only been there for 20mins. I was too sick to get involved and these guys. I'm also going to add that the attitude of most us had changed when this select group of hateful individuals took to venting their rage at the receptionists (I know that as much as I didn't care for the others around me, they had influenced me enough to the point that I was becoming agitated) I over heard some people stating that they were going to report 'them' (the practice) and but were in no hurry to leave. (I now understand that reporting a practice means leaving a comment in here) At one point the practice manager was talking to a patient calming them down. Certain receptionists had special relationships (professional) with some of the patients, in particular there was a young with specials needs that was very pleased to see the staff and they spoke with him and allowed him to entertain them his banter ( all of this was going on whilst the other rabid individuals complained). Went it was my turn to be seen I leapt up and didn't look back, but what i will say, is that, of all of the people that were complaining and being horrible, not one of them left the surgery unhappy. This was one day, and most visits when I attend with my dad, things are very different, the staff made every effort to be accomodating and on not-so-busy days we all engage in light-hearted conversation. I like this practice and would want more people to voice their appreciation. I just wish there was a way to stop rude trouble makers from attending. There are loads of posters in hospitals talking about zero tolerance for those that abuse staff but I don't think this has filtered down to my practice yet. Being overly aggressive and argumentative for no 'real' reason should have people removed from the practice.
