My family and I have been patients here for nearly 30 years and find this surgery excellent. We have never had a problem with getting an appointment the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Our son has cancer and the treatment he has received from all at the Lanfranc Medical Health Centre has been first class. We are moving soon and will have to leave the surgery all of us feel so upset at this prospect. We are deeply saddened at having to leave. We would all like to wish all this surgery the very best. We will miss you |

Lanfranc Medical Centre exhibits a real culture of care. The receptionist staff are friendly and courteous. Appointments are available by phone and every effort is made to accomodate you on the same day It is also possible to book appointments on line which I do find useful at times. I have had the experience of appointments with the Practice Nurses for both treatment and post operative care and find them very pleasant and efficient. The team of GP’s are pleased to help and should access be required for specialist treatment services seem very good at achieving onward referrals. I signed on with the practice over 6 years ago when moving to the area because it was the Practice nearest to me and I have reason to be very grateful for the service I have received. |

Have been a patient at LanFranch medical centre for a number of years and the doctors are excellent. However the receptions come and go and some are excellent but others require good training and need logical solutions to save valuable time of GPS. With the lack of the above they create a barrier and make invalid decisions (hence training shortfall). Wasn’t able to book an appointment with the nurse again for immunisation despite surgery message that they offer certain common vaccinations. Can’t book an appointment for this with the nurse, not able to book appointments with GP. What does one do in this situation? They said only the doctors are able to give injections! Totally incorrect statement. Receptionists please train up and have a good mind as to how to save precious time of GP. We don’t need the GP to call or see us for injections. The nurses are there to do their job. |
