The receptionists at this practice are some of the rudest people I have ever come across. There are signs on the ways warning not be rude to them, but they seem to be the only ones being hostile. I called them up the other day to ask a simple question about an appointment request, to which I was told 'How am I meant to know, I am not a doctor I am a receptionist, do you want the appointment or not?'. For such a polite, friendly town like harpenden, those who are meant to be working for the most caring centre of the town are nothing but rude to those they come across. Many friends of mine have even changed their doctors due to these receptionists. Something must change. |

I have been a patient of Davenport House for 50 years and have never considered changing. The staff are invariably polite and helpful and I have every confidence in the treatment I have received including a recent very thorough general check up. The automated appointment booking service works well, but it is always possible to speak to a member of staff if that is needed. |
