Today Sept 24th I phoned the Surgery at 8.30 a.m. Got through immediately and was phoned back by my Doctor before 9a.m....prescribed antibiotics which were delivered to my home from the pharmacy before 10.30 a.m. Truly wonderful service....I have been with Parkbury House for nearly 50 years now... As a family all three three generations have used this surgery for nearly 30 years. The triage phone service is excellent allowing you talk to a doctor in 3/4 hours and then arranges an appointment on the same day if necessary. Given the volume and demand for services the staff and doctors have to be clinical in their approach but this does not mean that they do not empathise and care . We have. 4 elderly parents who have all received excellent support in their latter years and the Practice has worked well with the local charities who support the elderly . We and our kids, now adults continue to get excellent service . From what I see and hear this is one of the best run Practices in the area.

The Parkbury House surgery provides an excellent service to patients. Everything works so well, from telephoning for an appointment, to arranging a repeat prescription. The reception staff go out of their way to be helpful. I usually have a telephone appointment with a GP rather than face to face, but all of the GPs I have spoken to have been great. If I go in to the surgery it is usually to see a nurse and the Parkbury House nurses are lovely, very caring and knowledgeable, which for me as a nervous patient is so reassuring. I really appreciate all they do and I feel very lucky to be with this practice.
