I have been a patient for over 40 years. This is an amazing surgery. I have never struggled to get an appointment. The reception staff are always polite and helpful. The Doctors are caring I can not fault the service me and my family receive.

I have read a number of poor reviews and felt that i should redress the balance. My wife and I have been visiting the surgery for just over 2 1/2 years and have found both the medical staff and reception to be very accommodating where possible.The booking system is not the easiest to work with, but when an important issue has occurred a call back from a duty doctor has come within an hour or so.The treatment my wife and I have received has been extremely good and in a reasonable time period. It's not perfect but the last time i looked nether am I

In the last 2 months I have visited the surgery. One appointment was for myself & the second visit was for my son. On my visit I waited 1 hour over my allocated appointment time. On my sons visit we waited 52 minutes over the appointment time. This is not acceptable! If I turned up for my appointment 1 hour late they would refuse to see me. What is the point of giving an appointment time if they don't keep to it? I can understand some things over run but not by this much time. Both appointment were in early afternoon ( just after lunch) there really is no excuse to treat people like this. Also I stood at reception & asked to make an appointment to be told that I'd have to call back tomorrow morning. I was physically standing there & was told to call!!! It take forever to get through all at my cost! The practice manager really needs to review the system & maybe stop taking on too many patients. I have been a patient for over 40 years.

We are sorry to hear you had a difficult experience at your last appointment. Unfortunately our GPs/Nurses can run late due to a variety of reasons including medical emergencies. We hope you have a better experience at your next appointment. We do ask all of our patients to be a patient patient. As a long standing patient at our practice you will already know we offer 72 hour in advance appointments, advanced appointments and a triage system for emergency on the day appointments. Our 72 hour appointments are released at 8:30am each morning and once they are all booked on a particular day the next 72 hour appointments will not be released until the following morning at 8:30am. We also have an online booking system whereby you can manage your own appointments, please enquire at reception if you would like to use this service. We are pleased to hear you have been a patient with us for over 40 years and look forward to caring for you and your family in the future. Thank you for your feedback.
