Elderly 94 year old Father with considerable medical problems walked to the surgery on Friday morning. There was nothing displayed that told him the surgery was closed, for how long and what he was supposed to do in the meantime. I visited on Sunday by which time he was in a complete turmoil of not knowing whether the surgery was ever going to be open again. Please can you display clearly when the surgery is closed for Public Holidays when you will be closed/open and what patients should do in the meantime.

Can never get through and when I did refused to book me in with a doctor insist I see a nurse when the nurse provided information inconsistent with the what the doctor has said to do. Also issued an incorrect prescription. I'm looking to go elsewhere

I have complained to the Practice Manager - via email - you are not allowed to see them in person - and their answer to the complaint and or suggestion is pitiful. They actually ignore the complaint and give no indication that they will change their practices to achieve better service. My wife and I have moved practices after several poor years of service. Our children are still there, but we will be moving them soon too. Given that the average waiting time on the phone to get through is 35 minutes - at any time of the day - and that once and if you get through then you are likely to be asked to call again at 0800 the next day in order to get an appointment - it is a fruitless task to ask them to change. I wish they would lose their licence as a Practice. Their Doctors and Nurses I have no problem with. But the administration is atrocious.
