Thank you for your comment- we can see from our records that our GP tried to call you on 2 separate occasions- the first time being at 11.15am and both times the phone cut off after just 1 ring. It would be helpful if you could contact us to make sure that we have the correct phone number for you. The GP who tried to contact you mentioned that it did sound like an overseas ring tone and if this is the case it should be noted that we are unable to make overseas calls from the practice

We are sorry that you feel you have cause to complain, we aim to provide a caring and efficient service to all of our patients and it is disappointing to hear that we have not met your expectations. It is a pity that you did not bring your concerns to our attention at the time so that we could investigate and resolve any issues. However, we do record all calls into the practice and if you contact the practice and give us details of the date and approximate time you called us we can listen to the conversation and address your comments with the person concerned. Alternatively please feel free to contact our Patient Services Manager to discuss your issues further

We are sorry that you feel our reception staff are rude and a barrier to you accessing a Drs appointment, we work hard to provide a caring and efficient service to our patients and this is evidenced by the many thank you cards and complimentary comments recorded in our comments book. Therefore, it is disappointing to learn that we have not met your expectations It is important to note that it is not always necessary to see a GP, we have a wide range of highly trained clinicians available to see and treat our patients- this includes Practices Nurses, Minor Illness Nurses who are also prescribers, Healthcare Assistants, Associate Practitioner and an Emergency Care Practitioner. Our reception staff have been specially trained to signpost patients to the most appropriate clinician which ensures that you are seen as quickly as possible and by the most appropriate person It is a pity that you did not raise your concerns with us at the time so that we could investigate any specific incidents, however, if you would like to contact the practice with details of specific incidents we would be happy to investigate for you. In addition we record calls into the practice, so if your concern is regarding how you were dealt with on the phone, then please contact us with the date, approximate time of your call and the number you were calling from and we would be happy to listen to the call and take any appropriate action
