I have been at this surgery for some years now as a patient.
I think that the staff and the doctors need to be given praise for the hard jobs they do. I myself have never had an issue getting an appointment and yes the phone rings for a while Before answering but when you see how busy they are patients should understand that the phone will unlikely be answered immediately. I have also seen patients giving the staff a hard time at the desk i feel this is unfair they are doing ther best to accommodate all patients. The surgery is always clean and tidy and staff and doctors are always friendly and helpful |

I had hearing loss in my right ear after starting Ear Drop proscribed to me by a doctor at London Road. After speak to NHS 111 they advised me that I needed a call back from my doctor to assess whether I needed an appointment or not.
I called the surgery and was told that I would get a call back as requested. After waiting for 3+ hours I decided to attend the Doctors surgery and find out what was happening.
I was told by the receptionist that someone did call me and that I did not answer. As I only have one phone (my mobile) and this did not ring, I can assure you that this is not the case!
I was then told there was a note on the system that I needed to make an appointment. If I had not gone to the doctors to see what was happening I highly doubt I would of ever found this out!!!

I was feeling very unwell, the receptionist was kind and supportive, she offered me an almost immediate appointment wit the Nurse Practitioner, who recognized the need for a referral to the hospital. She was kind , reassuring and explained her decision. She confirmed ny approval. |
