I've had 2 yearly appointments with this dentist and I feel she is putting me in for work that isn't necessarily needed. Been seen at the emergency dentist previously as was on a waiting list when moving to a new area. I've currently had 2 fillings with this dentist and had nothing but ongoing issues with the teeth she's filled. One was a broken tooth which I requested to be extracted, she decided to 'save' my tooth and now I have a constant abscess and pain. Top tooth which never caused me issues apparently needed a filling, to this day (a year on from the treatment) I've had nothing but on and off pain. She was also very rude to my husband and my son (who's 8), he was scared to have a filling done and she was abrupt and mean to him making him cry, it took 2 attempts of a referral to the community dental team because they had his DOB completely wrong !! He's now had his treatment at community dental who were fantastic with him. Jump through to today - he now apparently needs another 2 fillings even though he was seen at the community dentist no less then a month ago - who said there was no further work to be completed! After questioning the 2 new fillings she rudely told my son he obviously doesn't brush his teeth properly and when he argued that he does brush them with an electric toothbrush twice a day she said stated he didn't because he needs 2 more fillings. My son has left that appointment very upset and has refused to have treatment done by her.
