My family have used this practice for many years. Last year I was charged the usual £50 for a visit to the hygienist and as always, paid on my way out. Some weeks later I was contacted and asked to pay again. I explained I had paid and after some investigation they agreed that they were aware of the transaction. A couple of months later, the same thing happened, again resulting in an apology and an assurance that I didn’t owe them anything. Last week I received a letter saying if I didn’t pay I’d face legal action. I called and was told the people who had dealt with the initial investigations were not up to speed and that I did owe the practice £50 and they would initiate legal action against me if I didn’t pay immediately. Good dentists but not so good at accounting.
