I have had a dentist phobia from childhood as a consequence i neglected to seek treatment when necessary. However, I had. Large gap where I had lost teeth from neglect. Vanity and the need to improve my appearance, finally got the better of me. I tried to hide my fears, and after a three month wait was given appointment.
I just thought I would ask for a denture and nothing more, but I had.problems that would prevent this from being successful. The dentist was lovely. They told mewhat needed to be done but didn't pressurise me in any way. I felt comfortable with them immediately and felt that I could trust them. Here, I am today with a big smile. I managed a filling, a denture fitting, and two molar extractions! They supported me through every stage if the procedures. If you have a fear of dentists, please go here. My whole family had been with this practice for many years. We were NHS patients. Normally we would receive reminders to come in for check ups. We had not been in for some time and had no reminders or communication of any kind. I phoned up to make an appointment and was told we have all been struck off because we had not been in regularly. Why not have the decency to contact us and warn us this could happen if we did not come in? We now have no dentist and can find no other practice taking NHS patients. It seems all this dental practice is now interested in is money. | |||||||
