I have been calling since 9 this morning as I have a snapped tooth that is giving me a lot of pain and just. Red putting back In to ease the pain- After finally getting through I was told there was nothing they could do as it was cosmetics and not an emergency , I told them I was in Pain and the operative told me there would be nothing They could do. I then called NHS 111 who advised me that I should be seen in 24 hours and they had sent a message back to the surgery. So I called back and was still told that they were wrong and there was nothing they could do. Eventually they did say they could see me at 3 pm but it would only be to probably give antibiotics for pain nothing more. I refused and put the phone down- I am a nervous and absolutely petrified of dentist and it has taken me a good week to calll so now I am panicky and because of the rudeness of the operator have more pain than before. This is an emergency dental surgery and as I understand it is a Sunday but you are still at work and politeness to a nervous and petrified patient would not go a miss. All I wanted was to get rid of this pain and just temp put the tooth back In and now I am too scared to even go I am that worked up This lady needs to get some training on people management
