Impossible to get an appointment till your teeth disintegrate and it becomes an 'emergency' appointment. Then you have to ring 8:30 the next morning as they won't allow you to make a convenient appointment at a convenient time, even if you are prepared to wait for the next available appointment. Sloppy work, temporary fillings are particularly temporary, lasting till you get home. No attempt to get the permanent filling to resemble my tooth, just squashed in like chewing gum, not even flush to the edge of the remaining tooth. Once you've had an emergency appointment you are finally on the checkups list, they last around a minute, no teeth cleaning. Like many services post COVID, complacent, there's no real motivation to compete, as currently no one can really shop around, attitude of receptionist reflected this... |

HI, Neil Beaton here last time I was up to the surgery I was seen the dentist. He had two tries of trying to extract a tooth after several times of trying to fill the cavity. The pain was too much to bear in trying to extract the tooth so, he dressed it and let it Since then, I have had a lot of pain in my jaw and tooth. and have taken strong painkillers but they didn't help much at all. I have DHC Continus tablets and I thought that they may help which they did. The trouble was that I must have taken too many as I was not able to pass urine or open my bowels. Consequently I ended up In Cramlington Hospital and was fitted with a catheter. I was up there for 2 separate days until I came back as it were ON STREAM. I will be speaking with the Dental surgeon. I will be back in touch when I have spoken to her and have further news. Regards. Neil Beaton 21/09/1951 |

The reception staff are in dire need of customer service training. They never make you feel welcome or at ease. |
