My wife previously had a bad experience of this dentist but upon hearing that particular dentist had left we researched reviews and booked us and our daughter in. At the age of 53 I haven’t ever had any treatment on my teeth. During my check up I was informed I’d need 2 there and then and likely 2 more within 6 months. I have never had any pain in my teeth and the sensitivity was high after the filling. Shortly after part of the filling fell out and I called the dentist. They got me in quite quickly and refilled. Several weeks later the pain is excruciating. I have been trying to get an emergency appointment for a week and they told me I would need to go elsewhere. I wanted to return to the original dentist so I stressed this and they explained they would call with a cancellation. They didn’t. I chased again and still to no avail. After calling an emergency dentist that oradent has recommended they advised my dentist should have seen me within 24 hours. Aside from this unresolved treatment their service is poor. The receptionist would come in and out during our appointments when the dentist was actively in our mouths and ask the dentist questions because she had someone on the phone. It was very chaotic and unprofessional. We had 4 appointments there in total and every one was more than 20 mins late. I called up and asked if my wife could act on my behalf due to my job I can’t answer the telephone easily. I passed on her number and was told this was fine. She eventually got a call at 12pm on Friday but was told they couldn’t discuss it with my wife! My wife explained we had previously been told it was ok. The receptionist was adamant and said ‘it’s ok we will call him Monday as we close at 2pm. My wife explained this was not ok as I was in a lot of pain and needed seeing. The receptionist continued to explain it was ok. We shall be reporting this practise and never returning.
