After 16 very contented years with this dentist surgery, and exemplary care from our dentist, I called today to make my 10 year old sons appt for his next check. At this next appt, we were due to discuss the start of his referral to an orthodontist, he needs extractions but before this can take place we had had to wait until his teeth had developed further before this could take place. I called to discover that the practice had been taken over again (2nd time in 2 years,) by BUPA, my dentist has also semi retired and no longer sees NHS patients. Also, apparently the only NHS dentist in the practice has just taken all of the summer off - he can’t make any appts till October? This has meant that I have now had to move my dental practice as this service is unacceptable. I’m so disappointed that this change of ownership has made such a drastic difference to the level of service that I have enjoyed from Yarde House for 16 years. I won’t be using this practice again and I won’t recommend it. It’s such a shame and is going to have an impact on the continuity of my sons ongoing dental care.
