So unprofessional . I was an NHS patient so maybe it is different for private ones. The dentist chats with her assistant whilst looking in my mouth and they're both laughing away whilst discussing things outside of work . How rude. I feel that they do not care and never offer any treatment except the absolute minimum that they can get away with. I have now signed up to a private dental practice somewhere else to save my teeth.

We were contacted about attending an appointment for my son for 3.30. We were told to attend 3.30 and I ensured we arrived 5 minutes early as we had previous appointments cancelled when we had arrived only 5 minutes late. We were asked to wait and I knew it would be a while as there were patients before us who had obviously been there for a while and were complaining. What I didn't expect was to wait until 4.55, almost 90 minutes after our allocated appointment time and all this for an appointment that lasted barely 5 minutes. I understand that sometimes they may be delayed and we may have to wait, but where is the reciprocal understanding? For me, it shows an arrogance to expect patients to wait almost 90 minutes and then cancel appointments if the public are 5 minutes late. Seething!
