I had toothache and found that my filling and tooth had cracked at the back, i rang the next day at half 8.. got through after 10 minutes and was given an appointment for half 11. The waiting time was about 15 minutes and everything was straight forward - they gave me three choices and i was able to discuss it with the person with me. I successfully had the tooth removed, the staff were friendly and supported me. They gave me advice and papers on what to do after it and received medicine gauzes to go home with which i thought was nice.

Had difficulty calling this morning so decided to drive down to the centre to see if they could fit me in, I was a bit worried because I thought they may say could only make appointments via the phone number, but I had nothing to worry about. The lady on reception was so helpful and friendly and did everything she could to get me booked in, which she did for 11.45. I returned for my appointment at the alotted time and was called into to the see the dentist within 5 mins. I was anxious, because I know my teeth are not in the greatest of shape and had been putting off visiting the dentist because of this, but I was in so much pain and with a swollen face also, I had no choice. Both the dentist and the dental nurse were fantastic, I could not have been made to feel more relaxed and less anxious. The procedure ( extraction) was a lot less painful than I expected, I was given different options for treatment, but I knew I wanted it taken out. They took an xray to make sure all was ok and then my tooth was removed quite easily, all through the process I was given explanationas of what was happening and my welfare was quite clearly their main concern. This is the first time I have ever used this service and would not hesitate to use again, however according to the sign in reception it ceases to exist from 1st October 2019, this is such a massive shame. Thank you to all concerned
