I have had my last four appointments cancelled. The last one yesterday for today. After receiving a text to say my time and date and no shows cost the practice £40. The next for the name of the Dentist. Then i get left a phone message to say they have to cancel and i need to rearrange. I rang and asked why it was cancelled again and was told the dentist doesn't work that late on a Friday. 4:00pm. I asked if that was the case why book the appointment. Considering the practice is open until 5:00pm. I work 20 miles away and cannot just have appointments mid day. I registered with them because they are open Friday afternoons and i finish work at 2:00pm. 2 months ago i was told they only see private patients Friday afternoons, then they offered me an appointment on a Friday 4:00pm. I get the impression it changes from week to week to suit themselves. This is not a professional practice and if cancelling appointments they should at least get the story right and stick to it. One cancellation I was given two different reason in the same conversation. I will never be going back or recommend it.

I rang up to find out when my appointment was and the receptionist told me it has been delayed and I should’ve got a text. So I asked when it’s been moved to and I got told 28th January. I asked why so late and the receptionist went on about a dentist leaving tomorrow and a new one starts on 8th Jan and cause I’m a new patient I have to wait till then. So when I asked why should me being new matter, the receptionist got extremely rude with me and abrasive. I could handle the rescheduling but I already had to wait 2 months for my 1st appointment now I have to wait another 6 weeks for the rescheduling. I am very dissatisfied with my experience with the receptionist and that I wasn’t informed earlier that I wouldn’t get my appointment this month
