For a second time, I have been kept waiting in the waiting room for too long without any information about the delay. Arriving at just before 10:30am this morning, I left at 11:00 with two patients still waiting ahead of me - their appointments being for 10:10 and 10:20 respectively. Ignoring the cost of travel and parking, time is money and something needs to be done to ensure that patients are seen in a timely fashion. The staff at reception were apologetic and professional. I hope for prompt treatment in the future.

.I moved to this dentist after moving house and this was the nearest one accepting NHS patients. My first experience a couple of years ago was when I needed a tooth extracting and this meant a new partial denture. The denture came back and the new tooth was in the wrong place so I had to have another tooth extracted to fit the denture which was very poorly made anyway so I have gone back to my old one with two teeth missing and still had to pay the 238 pounds for the useless one. Since then I have been several times and although the receptionists are fine and the dentists do their job there is no empathy. Last time the dentist I saw suggested I had a tooth out and while my denture was away to add this tooth I walk around with three front teeth missing. I am 71 years old but still have my pride. They only seem to be interested in private patients ( this particular dentist mentioned his private patients several times when discussion the awful denture I had made before, saying that he uses different labs for private against NHS patients. That says it all..

My daughter needs a brace and has had her initial appointment cancelling now 3 TIMES !!! All i receieved is the dentist is poorly !? Made with another dentist and no explanation - then the manager called NO apology NO explanation just defending the dentist and the fact it’s been cancelled AGAIN !!? I had to ask for an apology and then received a back handed one. I was furious and at the time of her calling I was on my holiday so was. It discussing this and will hopefully get a dentist to actually see and sort my daughter out.
