I have just called the dentist to check if we’re still on their system! They deleted us as we haven’t been for years. Their system said we missed a family appointment! The receptionist at the time had written down the date and time for us but when we attended it was shut! When I called to reschedule the dentist apologised at the time and gave us another date when I came back she said we wasnt on their system for that day so I left the surgery. Although I had been warned about this dentist I reserved judgement as I was new. So willing to give them a second chance I called in today and the receptionist Michelle had said her computer doesn’t lie! Basically calling me a liar! She obviously didn’t like that I said I’d been warned about this surgery and she started to become defensive when I told her that the surgery was shut when we turned up… I explained this happened and she didn’t believe me! She began to talk faster and more abrupt in disbelief so I hung up the phone, nobody wants to be called a liar by a receptionist! If she’d had said I’m sorry for what happened is there anything we can do? Instead of insisting I’m a liar and said you’ll need to find another NHS dental surgery. I only wanted my 6 year old to have a check up after covid! Absolutely disgusting awful behaviour from the receptionist, I was so happy return as the dentist there was really good with my filling and other appointments! Such a shame and I will be telling everyone about this even the private patients who I know who goes here!!! I’m a so shocked by the phone call conversat
