The Mobile dentists visited my bed ridden mother at home. She is 94 years old, frail and receiving palliative care. She has been expereincing tooth pain for some time. The dentists were fantastic. They assessed the situation and extracted a tooth. They were caring, professional and efficient. This is a fabulous and invaluable service. Thank you.

My 90-year-old mother recently lost her top set of dentures. From the first point of contact, it was clear Mobile Dental Services understood exactly what we wanted and how to deliver it. What with my mother having dementia and being housebound, there were precious few domiciliary dental services available. But from that first phone call, a calm and confident voice talked us through our options and reassured us that this wouldn't be a problem. The dental staff visited on four occasions over four weeks, same day and time each week, during which my mother was treated with care, respect and dignity. For somebody with a lifelong fear of dentists, this was essential to a successful outcome. She sat with her head back on her own sofa, stroking her dog, while staff sensitively explained what he was doing. The process played itself out exactly as it was explained, during that initial phone call. Both dental staff were always attentive and happy to discuss my mother's treatment every step of the way. At the final appointment, they went to great lengths to emphasise that if my mother had any soreness with her new denture, that we should call him and he would come straight back and rectify it. This very genuine concern in relation to aftercare, in taking great pride in his work, is sadly contrary to some of the other people who have previously visited my mother or carried out work on my parents house. After the first time they had visited, my father said that they were 'a real find'. And he was still saying that at the time the work was completed. As somebody who simply cold-googled 'Home dentists Harrow', I can only agree with him. I would recommend Mobile Dental Services to absolutely anybody. They specialise in treating elderly people in their own home and therefore are experts at it. They are a company with care, confidence and consideration at the heart of their ethos. It's easy in this day and age to become very cynical about people and life. But sometimes we chance upon others who can restore a little bit of our faith in humanity.
