The receptionists here as so rude and unhelpful. The Dentist's leave you waiting an hour and a half plus and then refuse to see you if you are running 10 mins behind. On a previous visit back in 2017 I was going through a personally difficult time. Upon arrival the receptionist screamed across the busy waiting room I wasn't allowed to bring in my pram and I have to leave. She ended up shouting at me across the room. I was so upset and mortified whilst waiting for my appointment I sat in tears while staying to hold my 6 month old baby. The receptionist could clearly see she had upset me and continued to roll her eyes in my direction. Another patient came to comfort me. That is how the receptionists treat their patients. I only stayed with the practice after that as I had been going here since I was 10 and I believed the Dentists to be competent and good Dentists. The Dentists are ok.... however I found a much better dentist practice and now have changed surgery. I'm so pleased with my new dentist. The difference in service is huge. I made an appointment back at the beginning of August. Unfortunately I was 11 minutes late for my appointment. The Dentist refused to see me even though on many occasions I have sat for and hour and a half plus waiting. The receptionist left me waiting 9 minutes then told me I was 20 minutes later and couldn't be seen. The receptionist was extremely rude. I had travelled 20 miles to come back here and she didn't even try to help. I also had called ahead to inform them I would be late so if it was a problem I could turn around avoid continuing my journey and save myself the £3 parking. They could of told me on the phone I would not be seen. Instead they just said ok. The surgery was completely empty at the time and the receptionist said there was patients standing upstairs waiting on the landing. This is obviously not true. If it is I am even more concerned .... Don't accept being spoken to so awfully by the receptionists here. Find a new practice. There is much better surgeries where you are spoken to like a person and you don't have to sit waiting an hour and a half plus to see a Dentist. Have been going here since I was 10 years old. I wrote a complaint and the manager didn't even bother to respond to it. That is how much they care about their patients and clients. Do yourself a favour and give this surgery a miss.
